An enthusiastic teacher with a smile permanently attached to his face, Jake brings never-ending positivity to his classes. Originally from Colorado, he danced his way around Europe for a couple of years while living in Finland for work, but is now back in the Mile High City. Jake started dancing Lindy Hop in 2009 in Boulder, where he helped run the University of Colorado Swing Club. While in Finland, he taught classes and performed around the country for Tampere’s SwingTeam and Foxtail Stompers. Now that he’s back, you’ll find him around town teaching for Swingin Denver or performing with The Ladies & Gentlemen!
When he’s not dancing, Jake is working as a satellite systems engineer for a local aerospace company, tutoring high school students in math and science, or exploring the wilderness of Colorado. He hopes to see you at either Stem Ciders or Dry Dock soon!
