Join WellPower and local swing dance company, Swingin’ Denver, for a series of no-cost dance lessons and a social dance at Dahlia Campus this summer. Learn about the past and present of Black Social Dance as we dive into the basics of Swing-era Lindy Hop and Charleston over a 4-week lesson series. Then show off what you’ve learned (or simply join us for some fun and great music) at our big social dance.

LOCATION: WellPower’s Dahlia Campus for Health & Well-Being | 3401 Eudora St, Denver, CO 80207

DATES & TIMES:

• Lesson 1: July 8 from 6 to 7 p.m.

• Lesson 2: July 15 from 6 to 7 p.m.

• Lesson 3: July 22 from 6 to 7 p.m.

• Lesson 4: July 29 from 6 to 7 p.m.

• Social Dance: August 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m

DETAILS: Lessons are open to children and adults ages 8 and up. Our social dance is open to all ages and will feature music from Max Moore, vendors and food from WellPower’s NextChapter program.
